New York. St. John’s. Birmingham. Manchester. London. Chicago. Grenada. New York.
This year people have been repeatedly surprised when they saw that I was checked in at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Facebook and heading off to another destination.
I just returned home from my fifth trip of the year, logging approximately 23,905 km (14,854 miles) in the air in 2016.* I am not sure what 2017 will hold, but I am already planning to exceed 2016’s total. Why? Well, I think Saint Augustine said it best –
“The world is a book, and those who don’t travel only read one page.” [Tweet this quote]
Regardless of the reason, – whether for business or pleasure – I always look forward to getting off the ground and stepping out into a fresh, new destination. And I want you to do the same! Check out my Tips for Travel to help you get going.
Update: November 8, 2016
* In November, 2016 I took another weekend trip to New York, bringing the total number of trips this year to six with an approximate 24,903 km (15,474 miles) travelled by air on fifteen individual flight segments.
